Esmaeli Baghihai, a spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that he has submitted a resolution entitled “The ban on attacks in all forms and the threat of attacks on the nuclear power and capabilities of the IAEA Safejad.”
“To defend the integrity of the NPT, Iran has submitted a resolution together with China, Russia, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Belarus on “prohibiting all forms of attack and the threat of attacks on nuclear sites and facilities under the #IAEA Safeguard.”
“As our draft is reaffirmed, all countries enjoy “the boring right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes” and “have the right to effectively guarantee against any attack or threat of attack,” he added.
“We also reaffirm that all states must refrain from attacking or threatening other countries’ peaceful nuclear facilities,” Iran’s senior diplomat continued.
Hello, I concluded that these principles must be supported. This is when the international community acts firmly to prevent the normalization of lawlessness.

Iran has consistently condemned Israeli and US aid attacks on protected nuclear facilities, highlighting that these attacks undermines global security and the reliability of the IAEA. Supported by countries opposed to unilateral nationalism in the West, Tehran has repeatedly emphasized that peaceful nuclear activity is sovereignty just beneath the NPT. The proposed resolution is part of Iran’s broader campaign to pressure the IAEA and member states to oppose the military threat to nuclear programs under international surveillance.
