The fact that cannot be ignored is the expansionist approach of the Zionist regime. It appears to be pursued and continues with the aim of realizing “Great Israel.”
If this regime is not stopped, not only neighboring countries, but also gradually far away countries will be threatened, but will move forward without restrictions.
In this context, when talking about Türkiye, the issue is not limited to the activities of Hamas elements. This issue is more relevant than is related to Israel’s presence in the region and its expansionist goals.
One of Israel’s goals is to control and monitor Syria, and Turkey wants to maintain its presence in Syria to protect itself.
Today we are witnessing an open conflict between Türkiye and the Israeli regime. Israel is trying to split Syria and receives US support in this regard, but Turkey is in a strategic region and is trying to support support groups in line with it. This conflict can lead to a direct conflict on both sides.
It is also important that Turkish public opinion generally oppose Israel, which makes it difficult for Ankara to tolerate Israel’s existence along with Turkey. Therefore, the main issue of the conflict between Türkiye and Israel is not limited to Hamas leaders or their movements.
The author believes that Turkey could become a real target for Israel. This is not only because of Hamas’ activities, but also because of its strategic position on the path to achieving expansionist goals and achieving “great Israel.”
In short, Turkey has a geographical location and regional role, and is on the path of Israel’s expansionist programme in terms of both security and regional politics, and this fact will affect the future development of the region.
