In a meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif, a bystander at the extraordinary Arab Islamic Summit held in Doha on Monday, Iran’s president said realising these opportunities will benefit both countries and the class, particularly in border cooperation.
Emphasizing Pakistan’s historical role in supporting Muslim brothers, Pezeshkian noted that the only way to counter the brutal actions of the Israeli regime is through unity, unified attitudes and practical measures of Islamic countries.
Prime Minister Sharif confirmed his personal commitment to follow up on the implementation of all contracts between the two countries. He said it was left to relevant government officials to promote and accelerate progress in cooperation.
Sharif also tackled the ongoing and escalating crimes committed by the Israeli regime, arguing that Islamic countries must adopt a consistent, unified attitude towards these atrocities. He called for collective action among Islamic countries to prevent such an invasion from recurring.
