Reza Najafi warned of the consequences of international indifference to the actions of the US and Zionist regimes, and called for effective action in this regard.
Speaking under the agenda proposed by Iran at the IAEA General Assembly, Najafi praised all countries that condemned military attacks on Zionist regimes and the United States.
He sought the US and Zionist administrations to be held liable for significant violations of international law rules and non-proliferation administrations.
Regarding Iran’s proposed resolution banning attacks on other countries’ peaceful nuclear facilities, the envoy said many members of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which have close ties with Iran and other sponsors of other resolutions, strongly condemned the offensive attacks of the Zionist regime, and agreed to praise tributes with other sponsors who support the threat and threat of threats with Iran.
These countries made it clear that their abstaining did not reflect their true position, and Iran’s Islamic Republic urged that, until next year’s meeting, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in consultation with other sponsors of the resolution, to postpone action on the resolution.
Iran and the masterminds of other resolutions (Russia, China, Cuba, Nicaragua, Belarus, Venezuela, Zimbabwe) have decided to postpone actions on the proposed resolution until the next meeting after carrying out necessary consultations and deliberations.
The 69th General Meeting of the 69th International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was opened on Monday at the headquarters of its agency in Vienna, with senior representatives from member countries attending.
