Al Jazeera reported on Saturday that the brother and sister-in-law of the director of Al Sifa Hospital were killed in an Israeli attack and targeted her home earlier in the day.
“The latest attack was this morning intentional targeting of the family of Dr. Mohammed Absalmiya, director of the Alsifa Hospital Complex in Gaza.
Hamas called the attack “forced the bloody terrorist messages directed at doctors to leave the city.”
“This is part of the genocide policy, and one of its cornerstones is the destruction of the medical sector,” he said, adding that over 1,700 health workers have been killed in Gaza by Israel and about 400 have been jailed.
