Gaza’s health ministry said 61 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours on Monday, pushing the death toll to 65,344 since October 2023.
According to a statement from the ministry, 220 other people have also been injured on the past day, with 166,795 people injured, the Anadolu Agency (AA).
“Many casualties remain on the tile rub and roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” the ministry added.
At least 12,785 people were killed and 54,754 were injured when Israel resumed its attacks on the territory after a brief ceasefire and exchange of prisoners.
It added that 23 Palestinians have been injured in Israeli military fires during the last 24 hours of humanitarian assistance.
The ministry said that 2,523 Palestinians have been killed and more than 18,496 have been injured while trying to receive humanitarian assistance since May 27th.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former war minister Joab Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide incident at the International Court of Justice over a war with the enclave.
