Government spokesman described the snapback mechanism as illegal and acknowledged its psychological consequences, which inevitably lead to economic and social consequences. She emphasized that the diplomatic device is fully committed to preventing its activation, citing multiple trips by Foreign Minister Araguchi as evidence of these efforts.
She added, “We have never welcomed sanctions, but the government is prepared for any unforeseen circumstances from the start.”
About the missile program
Mohajerani emphasized that Iran does not seek anyone’s permission to protect its people. She said it was Iranian missile forces that protected the Iranian state alongside national unification during the recent 12-day war.
She said, “We don’t ask for permission for missile capabilities and can’t reduce them. We don’t exchange any security for people.”
Elsewhere in her remarks, a government spokesperson said they had no access to its rich uranium, and that they were buried after the recent attack on the country’s nuclear infrastructure.
