The global smooth fleet, moving to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip, approached the border area of Greek territory near Crete on Tuesday.
Greek boats and ships are expected to join a fleet near Crete, as they are filled up towards Palestinian territory. The fleet is expected to reach Gaza within the next six days, Al Jazeera reported.
On the third consecutive night, the actions that fleet managers described as attempts to criminalize and undermine the fleet’s humanitarian missions had an unidentified drone had been found on the ship, the report added.
The “Sum” management condemned the Israeli regime’s threat to the fleet, emphasizing that the fleet’s mission is a peaceful and humanitarian action with the right to transport maritime aid to the Gaza Strip in accordance with international law.
