Yemeni military sources told the Lebanese Al-Mayanden television network, close to the regional resistance group, on Thursday that Yemeni air prevention successfully repelled a massive Israeli air strike in Sanaa.
Earlier in the day, Israeli forces bombed various regions south of Sanaa with 20 fighters in a new air attack. Local sources say only 12 explosions were heard in the city.
Sources emphasized that Yemeni’s defense system intercepted and targeted several groups of enemy fighter jets, forcing them to leave the Sanaa sky before bombing.
He also said in addition to using dozens of aircraft in the operation, the Zionist regime launched missiles from sea warships.
According to this Yemeni military source, air defense was able to block most of this attack by preparing multiple defenses to prevent the enemy from achieving their targets.
Meanwhile, Israeli sources claim they bombed the army and headquarters of Yemeni commanders, but local sources say the Israeli war plane first bombed the power plant in Dohavan, 10 km northwest of Sanaa, and then bombed the targeted residential area on Al Rakkas Street in Moaen and Seveen districts. Other residential areas were repeatedly attacked by airstrikes in the same district.
Local witnesses have reported widespread panic and serious damage to the home among civilians, but official figures on the possible casualties have not been released yet.
Yemeni hospital sources have reported injuries to two civilian martians and 48 people in the Israeli regime’s airstrikes in Sanaa, but that figure could rise.
Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 said in its post-attack report:
