To the cadets at the Army Officer College, Iranian Army Commander Amir Khatami said the military, particularly the Iranian army, has an important responsibility to protect the independence and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
General Hatami described the military’s preparedness as permanent and extremely valuable, saying that he would continue to monitor the enemy and respond forcefully to hostile or illegal actions.
In another part of his statement, Khatami said that Iranian wise and vigilant people played an important role, referring to the role of the Iranian state in the 12-day war.
He also added that if necessary, the Iranian state will move forward again and fulfill their responsibilities.
Major General Hatami spoke to senior commanders and army officials, saying, “Iran is now facing more specific circumstances and malicious enemies. We need to fully utilize this opportunity, enter these capable and prepared young people into the field and carry out large and important missions.”
Major General Amir Khatami, commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran, told cadets at the Army Officers University, that the Islamic Republic is rich in possibilities and that the country’s youth represent the greatest assets.
He also warned that the enemy was aiming to not only pressure the Iranian people with oppressive sanctions, but also destroy their capabilities and wreak havoc on mistrust between the people and the Islamic system.
