The Ministry of Health said Wednesday that at least 66,148 Palestinians were killed in the war of massacres in Israel’s Gaza Strip.
According to a statement from the ministry, 51 bodies have been brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours, causing 180 people to be injured and reported injuries to 168,716 in the onslaught of Israel.
“Many victims are still trapped in tile rubs and roads because rescuers can’t reach them,” he added.
Additionally, four Palestinians have been killed, 57 people have been injured in Israeli fires while attempting to receive humanitarian aid in the past 24 hours, and more than 18,930 Palestinians killed by 2,580 people for assistance have been injured since May 27th.
Israeli forces resumed their attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing 13,280 people and wounding 56,675 people, crushing the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in January.
The ministry says that two children have died of starvation in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of hunger-related deaths since October 2023 to 455, including 151 children.
According to the ministry, 177 people, including 36 children, died of starvation in the United Nations Assisted Integrated Food Security Stage (IPC), which declared starvation in Gaza this August.
On August 22, the IPC declared hunger in Gaza city, warning that it would spread to central and southern Gaza by the end of September.
Israel has blocked humanitarian aid across all borders where Gaza has been closed since March 2nd, pushing the enclave into hunger despite relief trucks piling up the border.
Israel occasionally allows for very limited amounts of aid to be entered, but those cargoes do not meet basic needs and do not end hunger. Most trucks are plundered by gangs accusing the Gaza regime of protecting Israel.
