Turkish Minister Grah received his Iranian counterpart who came to Ankara as part of his official visit at a military ceremony at the Turkish Ministry of Defense on Wednesday night.
Following the welcoming ceremony, both ministers chaired the inter-dispatch meeting.
Brigadier General Nasirzadeh mentioned the recent developments in the region, saying that the Zionist regime has targeted Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria many times. All of these issues are signs of expansionist and at-risk ambitions by this child-killing regime, and serial attacks on regional countries and murder of innocents have made them one of the most hated regimes for the world. Today, all countries in the region agree with the accusations and necessity of countering the crimes of this unfortunate regime.
Emphasizing its role in strengthening military cooperation in increasing the level of relations between the two countries, he invited the Turkish defence minister to visit Tehran to invite him to follow up on the agreement reached between his two neighbors.
The Iranian minister also said Iran and Turkey will affect issues in various regional, international and Islamic worlds, adding that improving relations between the two countries will lead to improved relations in the field of defense.

On his part, the Turkish Defense Minister noted the importance of Iran’s defense minister visiting Ankara, and saw the issue as a clear sign of close indications between the two countries in various fields. Referring to the presence of local terrorist groups trying to create instability and anxiety in the order of some governments in the region, General Guler announced that they could be prepared to fight terrorism and cooperate to create security in the region. He emphasized that, as Iran considers Turkey’s security to itself, Turkey will also make every effort to improve security, especially at shared borders.
