“We know that some foreigners, including EU representatives, have directly supported their attempts to overthrow the constitutional order. Against this background, the EU ambassadors of Georgia are specially responsible for this,” Kobahize said in a news briefing.
A rally was underway in Tbilisi. The protesters gathered during the day to protest local government elections. The rally organizers later urged demonstrators to move to the presidential palace, where anxiety exploded.
Georgia held local government elections on Saturday for the mayor and mayor, as well as city councillors.
