Fidan emphasized that actions of Israeli Cabinet risk eroding political and diplomatic initiatives aimed at halting conflict.
Meanwhile, Hebrew Daily Yedio Afronos reported that Netanyahu’s recent remarks put the US proposed peace plan at stake by former President Donald Trump.
In a separate comment about Syria, Fidan said Turkey has rejected any form of foreign interference or attempted to divide the country. He added that Ankara’s diplomatic efforts will fully support the Syrian government and focus on describing future parliamentary elections as Syria’s “historic milestone.”
Fidan’s warning comes hours after Netanyahu repeated his determination to continue his military attacks in Gaza despite increased domestic and international pressure to end the war.
The Israeli Prime Minister said the Army will advance operations in the heart of the Gaza Strip until all prisoners are returned and all military targets are achieved.
