General Ahmad Ali Gordalj, commander of Iran’s border police, commented on Sunday at a ceremony held to mark the week of law enforcement (police).
“During the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime, we had drones and quadcopter entrances from several countries. We documented this and reported the incident,” he said in a speech to the event.
“During the 12-day war, our border guards observed that three minibuses were deployed on the territory of a neighboring country, setting up drones and small aircraft. Following notification to the border guards of that country, their forces took action, killing three people in their encounters with that team and arresting the rest,” said the Iranian police commander.
General Goudarzi also said, “We are grateful to the people of Iraq. The Kurdistan region also has a memorandum of understanding with the general staff, so there is no problem for us.”
“In the coming weeks, the main military exercise, named after Allah’s messenger Muhammad (Pbuh), will be held in the Persian Gulf with the participation of the military and local people. This exercise is an opportunity to practice skills and strengthen the operational capabilities of border guards.”
