Amma al-Hakim, leader of Iraq’s national wisdom movement, and Iran’s ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Qasem al-e-Sadek, held talks, discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran, served the interests of both nations and made a statement in a way that deepens Islamic, cultural, economic and political cooperation.
At this meeting, Al Hakim described the upcoming parliamentary elections in Iraq as a critical and crucial event that could move the country “from vulnerable to permanent stability.”
The Iraqi leader added that peace and stability in the region is essential to achieving international security and stability.
Al Hakim also emphasized the importance of supporting the Palestinian people, supporting displaced people and rebuilding devastated cities, but he emphasized that the issues should be resolved through dialogue.
