In a meeting with the head of the Iranian military judicial body on Tuesday, Brigadier General Majid Musavi highlighted the role of the IRGC Aerospace Force during the 12-day war and key postwar recovery measures imposed by the Zionist regime in June.
He said all lasting damage has been repaired and operational capabilities have been fully restored.
“By God’s grace, by restoring damage, we are fully prepared to respond quickly and decisively to the threats and adventurism of our enemies,” the senior commander declared.
On June 13, the Zionist regime launched a war of attack on Iran, targeting military, nuclear and residential areas for 12 consecutive days. The US later escalated the conflict on June 22 by hitting three Iranian nuclear sites in Natanz, Fordau and Isfahan.
Iranian military provided immediate and powerful responses. The IRGC Aerospace Force carried out 22 retaliatory missile strikes and Operation True Promise III, causing significant damage and great losses to cities throughout the occupying territories.
In retaliation for the US attack, Iranian forces also targeted Al-Dade Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military facility in West Asia with a barrage of missiles.
The conflict ended on June 24th, when the ceasefire took effect.
