The Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan held a telephone conversation, reviewed the latest developments in bilateral cooperation and discussed ways to strengthen relations in various fields.
During the telephone conversation, Mr. Abbas Araghchi and Mr. Rashid Meredov exchanged views on the current state of relations between the two neighboring countries.
The two ministers underlined their common determination to expand all-round cooperation in the political, economic, scientific and cultural fields. The Leaders also emphasized the need to deepen consultation and cooperation, particularly in the energy and transport sectors, as key pillars of bilateral engagement.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue regular consultations and maintain close cooperation to promote mutual interests.
