The news was announced on the Tehran Times X account on Wednesday.
The Tehran Times is a major Iranian English-language newspaper and is part of the Mehr Media Group, which also includes the Mehr News Agency.
On June 13th, the Zionist regime launched an unjust war of aggression against Iran, targeting military, nuclear and residential areas for 12 consecutive days. The US then intensified the conflict on June 22 by attacking three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordeau and Isfahan.
The Iranian military took an immediate and powerful response. The IRGC Aerospace Force conducted 22 waves of retaliatory missile attacks under Operation True Promise III, causing serious damage and significant losses to cities across the occupying territory.
In retaliation for the US attack, Iranian forces also targeted Al Udeid Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military facility in West Asia, with missile barrages.
The conflict ended on June 24th, and a ceasefire was forced.
It is noteworthy that in June, when the war was underway, the German Prime Minister said that Zionist Israel was doing “dirty work” against Islamic countries on behalf of the Western countries.
