Commenting on the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa flood operation, Hojatleslam Hajj Ali Akbari said in his Friday sermon in Tehran that the evil Israeli regime has suffered many defeats in the past two years. Its power was shattered, and the economic collapse took its toll. Today, the Zionist regime is the most hated entity in world opinion. All of their strategic projects, including the so-called Abraham Accords, failed. ”
The cleric continued that just two days after the Al-Aqsa flood operation, and contrary to the Zionists’ slogans and expectations, the Zionists were forced to agree to a ceasefire with Gaza. They failed to achieve any goal other than genocide. The Zionist regime wanted to eradicate Hamas, but ended up negotiating with the very organization they were trying to destroy. While the Zionist regime has collapsed and suffered humiliation, the people of Gaza are now filled with a sense of victory.
Haji Ali Akbari warned that the enemy remains unreliable and urged the resistance front, especially Hamas, to remain vigilant and prepared.
He also criticized US President Donald Trump, saying, “Trump, who was one of the main accomplices of the Gaza genocide along with the Zionist regime, is now seeking the Nobel Peace Prize and shamelessly claiming he deserves it.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojatleslam Hajj Ali Akbari called the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) statement and European intervention in Iran’s internal affairs shameless, baseless and meddling. The three islands have been and continue to be Iranian territory.
Regarding Iran’s missile program, it is no one else’s business, and Iran should stop making such meaningless statements. He stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not wait for anyone’s recognition.
He concluded by calling for maintaining relations with its biggest supporter, the Islamic Republic of Iran, rather than relying on untrustworthy European countries. “Iran is a kind and brotherly neighbor to all Muslims.”
