The 8th International Conference on Solidarity with Palestinian Children and Youth has begun in Tehran.
More than 100 participants from 32 countries attended the international event held in Tehran on Sunday.
The event is held in memory of Mohammed al-Dullah, a Palestinian boy killed by Israeli forces in 2000.
This international event brings together participants from a variety of countries, including Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Turkey, Bangladesh, Tunesia, Serbia, Malaysia, and Zimbabwe.
The meeting commemorates Iran’s defense against Israeli aggression, which began with a major Israeli attack on June 13. The United States entered the war by bombing three Iranian nuclear facilities under the pretext of preventing the development of nuclear weapons. The war ended on June 24 after Israel was forced to unilaterally halt its aggression.
Nearly 47,000 Palestinians have died in Israel’s wars, more than half of them children.
