Speaking ahead of parliament on Sunday, Mohammad Berger Ghalibaf said the Islamic Republic of Iran supports all efforts aimed at ending war crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip with the support of the Palestinian people.
He stressed that the immediate demands of Palestinians and resistance groups include a permanent end to the genocide, an end to the invasion and occupation, the withdrawal of occupying forces, the lifting of the blockade, the reopening of borders, and free access to essentials such as food and medicine.
Ghalibaf said the undeniable reality is that despite heavy human sacrifices, the Palestinian people have successfully pressed their demands against the “criminal regime” and that Israelis have become one of the most hated figures in the world. He added that the world has entered an era of irreversible awakening, and while Palestine remains proud and free, Israeli criminals are isolated and despised.
The Speaker called on governments, international courts and competent judicial institutions to prosecute the leaders and perpetrators of genocide in Gaza, stressing that the credibility of these institutions must not be undermined by Israeli criminals.
Mr. Ghalibaf also warned that the Palestinian people and the Axis of Resistance, following in the path of their martyred leaders, remain vigilant and ready to respond to any deception, violation of agreements, or further aggression. He called on the international community to act responsibly to prevent violations by the occupation regime, as Palestinians and resistance groups remain aware and vigilant.
In conclusion, Ghalibaf paid tribute to all the martyrs of the resistance, including martyrs Yehya Shinwar, martyrs Ismail Haniyeh, martyrs Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and martyrs Sayed Hashem Safiddin, and honored their sacrifices in the defense of Israel from its enemies.
