On the occasion of October 14th, the anniversary of the revolution, Yemeni Supreme Council Chairman Mahdi al-Mashat issued a statement emphasizing the continuation of the struggle for the country’s complete liberation, formally calling on Saudi Arabia to end its “invasion, siege and occupation of Yemen” and to fulfill its peace commitments. He also announced that Yemen is working to strengthen its military capabilities in all areas and is ready to respond to any developments related to the Gaza agreement.
Yemen is ready to respond to any developments related to the Gaza agreement, he said, adding: “We will strive to develop and strengthen our military capabilities in all areas to withstand all advanced military technologies of our adversaries.”
According to the AVA news agency, al-Mashat said the Yemeni army will continue to defend the country until every inch of Yemen’s soil is liberated and all the occupiers who have plundered the people’s wealth and shed the blood of their children have been expelled.
Yemeni officials called on the Saudi government to end its invasion, siege and occupation of Yemen and to fulfill clear commitments to peace.
He stressed that ending invasions, sieges and occupations and implementing demands for peace are the closest solutions to preventing the opportunism of those who exploit wars between Islamic states for Israel’s interests.
