Iran’s Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Madanizadeh (MEAF) made a statement on the sidelines of the international investment forum “Dushanbe Investment 2025” and emphasized that Iran attaches great importance to relations with Iran in the trade and economic fields.
The Iranian Minister of Economy pointed out that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has always attached special importance to expanding relations with neighboring Tajikistan in all fields, and emphasized the importance of brotherly relations and close cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Madanizadeh took this opportunity to express his gratitude for the principled and courageous stance of the Government of Tajikistan in condemning the Zionist regime and the United States’ attack on Iran, which he considered an expression of deep understanding of the delicate situation in the region and the need to support lasting stability and security.
Turning to the relationship between Iran and Tajikistan, he noted that the two countries have recorded significant growth, especially in recent years.
Turning to the situation that has developed after the US and Israeli aggression against Iran, he pointed out that the activation of the snapback mechanism and the tightening of sanctions have paved the right path for the development and deepening of bilateral relations.
He said that the two countries have a high potential to strengthen relations in all fields, adding that talented Iranian companies have shown strong interest in participating in the implementation of power plants, road construction, housing and urban development projects in Tajikistan.
Madanizadeh added that Iran is ready to establish a joint science and technology park in the Republic of Tajikistan, foster knowledge-based enterprises and digitize the economy.
The international investment forum “Dushanbe Investment-2025” opened in the capital of Tajikistan, bringing together over a thousand participants from dozens of countries to explore opportunities for green investment, sustainable development and digital transformation of the national economy.
