Commander of the Border Guard Force Sistan Baluchestan announced that Second Lieutenant Sajjad Siami was martyred while on duty to protect the country’s southeastern border in the area of the Negor Border Regiment.
Brigadier General Shojaei said, “Lieutenant Sajjad Siami, a dedicated border guard and security defender, achieved the great grace of martyrdom while performing round-the-clock duties to ensure order and security on the country’s south-eastern borders.”
He added that the lifelong border guard sustained serious injuries as a result of a deliberate collision with a vehicle and was immediately taken to a medical center in Chabahar city.
The commander added that the serviceman succumbed to his injuries despite the efforts of medical authorities.
