Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has responded to remarks made by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General Rafael Grossi that could be interpreted as a threat against Iran.
“We don’t know if his comments were made out of concern or if they were meant to intimidate,” Arraguchi said. “But those who make such threats need to realize that repeating a failed experience will only lead to another failure.”
The Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) addressed the political challenges facing the agency in an exclusive interview with Algerian Channel broadcast on Wednesday night, citing Iran’s nuclear program as one of its key files.
In an interview with AL24News, Grossi commented on the challenges facing the IAEA, saying they were more political than technical. So in some countries and countries around the world where nuclear activity raises questions and concerns, whether those concerns are justified or not, this is an area we are discussing. Countries where there is a crisis with nuclear dimensions.
The IAEA Director-General maintained that first and foremost there is the issue of Iran’s nuclear program, which has always been the subject of questions, doubts, various processes, and periods of positive and negative developments.
