The power outage reportedly caused thousands of dollars in damage to commercial facilities and food storage facilities, highlighting the growing vulnerability of the Israeli regime’s infrastructure.
Al Jazeera reports that similar incidents have surged across the region in recent months.
Residents say Israeli regime officials are deliberately concealing the true cause of these repeated failures, downplaying them as “minor technical problems.”
However, local residents claim the outages are widespread and persistent and energy experts are unable to find a permanent solution.
Media outlets also reported that hundreds of parents in the area did not send their children to school in protest.
“We’re not talking about rebuilding in two days. Major repairs to the power infrastructure have been going on for weeks. Nowhere in the city is safe and no one is taking responsibility,” said one resident.
