Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Hossein Afshin participated in Sunday’s inauguration ceremony along with Emad Ahmadvand, Director General of Iran’s Nanotechnology and Microtechnology Development Headquarters.
More than 150 innovative companies will be showcasing advances in nanotechnology at the NanoExpo, which runs from November 2nd to 5th. Meanwhile, the Advanced Technology Exhibition will showcase 80 knowledge-based technology products, attracting visitors, especially students, researchers, and investors.
The largest annual event in the field of nanotechnology in Iran, this exhibition provides a unique opportunity to explore the evolution of Iranian science and industry over the past two decades. Currently, around 400 companies are actively working on nanotechnology in Iran, making a major contribution to the development of modern technology.
These companies focus on the research, production, and commercialization of nanotechnology-based products and are making remarkable advances in fields such as medicine, advanced materials, energy, and environmental science.
The exhibition also focuses on innovation across a variety of sectors, including industry, agriculture, energy and transportation. In addition to the exhibition, specialized sessions will facilitate knowledge transfer, identification of market needs, and international networking among engineers, researchers, and investors.
Over the past 15 editions, the Nano Exhibition has successfully fostered collaboration within Iran’s science and technology ecosystem, with over 1,000 companies participating and hundreds of nanotechnology products being introduced and commercialized.
