“In the early stages of the war, the revolutionary leader (Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Commander of All Iranian Armed Forces) played a direct and crucial role in restructuring the command and control cycle,” Naini told local Iranian media on Sunday, pointing to the war imposed on June 12 by the US-backed Israeli regime.
“On the eighth day of the war, we fired only one missile to send a message to the Zionist regime that it was incapable of intercepting even a single missile from our country,” the spokesperson said.
He claimed that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Forces carried out dozens of missile operations to force the Zionists into refuge multiple times.
He continued, “From the fifth day to the eighth day, we maintained an absolute advantage on the battlefield, and on the final day we achieved a complete victory.”
General Naini also pointed out that “on the last day, Israel tried to present a strong image of false power, but we continued to fire missiles until the last moment.”
He also referred to Iran’s retaliatory missile attack on a US military base in Qatar, saying, “14 missiles were fired at the US military base al-Udeid, and six of them accurately hit their targets.”
The Revolutionary Guards spokesperson went on to question the enemy’s ability to launch a new invasion of Iran, saying, “The enemy’s problem is not just ammunition. He also has technological problems. He had all the assets of the defense industry at his disposal, but he was unable to defend himself, and that remains the case.”
