Mexico denies receiving any reports of alleged attack on Israeli ambassador
According to a statement released by Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, neither the Ministry of Foreign Affairs nor the Ministry of the Interior has received any reports regarding the alleged assassination attempt on Israeli Ambassador to Mexico Einat Krantz Naygar, allegedly by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement emphasized Mexico’s commitment to maintaining open communication with all diplomatic missions operating in the country.
In a separate statement, Mexico’s Interior Ministry confirmed its readiness to respectfully coordinate and cooperate with security agencies of other countries if formally requested.
The U.S. and Israeli administrations claimed Friday that Iran tried to assassinate Israel’s ambassador to Mexico months ago.
The Iranian embassy in Mexico has rejected new charges against Tehran by the US and Israeli regimes over the alleged attack on the Iranian regime’s ambassador in Mexico City.
The claim that Iran is trying to assassinate the Israeli regime’s ambassador in Mexico is a media hype aimed at damaging the friendly and historical relations between the two countries, the embassy said in a statement on Friday.
The embassy stressed that Iran and Mexico have common interests and said Iran will never betray its trust in the Mexican government.
“We will never tarnish the good image of our friends, the Mexican people,” the Iranian embassy said, calling the accusations of anti-Semitism against Iran a big lie concocted by the minds of Israel’s racist leaders.
According to the statement, there are more than 100 synagogues in Iran, all of which are open to the public.
He stressed that when Israel invaded Iran in June, not a single incident of verbal harassment was recorded against the country’s large Jewish community.
