President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the Russian military used 430 drones and 18 missiles in the Nov. 14 attack, one of the largest in recent months. Targets in Sumy, Odessa and Kharkov were also attacked, he added.
A massive wave of missiles and drones that hit the Ukrainian capital and several other regions left four people dead and at least 27 injured, two of them children, Kyiv Independent reported, according to Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kiev military junta.
Airstrikes targeted residential areas across the capital. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said around 30 apartment buildings were damaged, as well as medical facilities, public transport, offices, shops and vehicles.
Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted 405 drones and 14 missiles, including two Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in a telegram that debris and direct hits were reported in 13 locations in the capital, and falling debris caused further damage in a further 44 locations.
