Majid Takht-Ravansi, Iran’s Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs (Political Affairs), conveyed a letter written by Foreign Minister Abbas Alaghushi to Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim, during a meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Takht Ravanshi and Mr. Khuraifi discussed cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and promote it, in light of the ceasefire agreement reached in October between the Hamas movement and the Israeli regime, as well as developments in the Gaza Strip and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
