According to Mehr News Agency, Hossein Pourfarzaneh, head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Authority, arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at an official invitation from Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
During the visit, Iranian and Emirati aviation officials will hold a joint meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the aviation field.
Discussions will focus on strengthening flight safety, sharing technical expertise, expanding airline connectivity between the two countries, and strengthening cooperation in aviation workforce training.
According to reports, the two sides plan to sign a preliminary agreement that includes air navigation, safety and joint research and development. The agreement is expected to pave the way for increased scheduled flights and improved regional air services.
