According to Mehr News Agency, at the ceremony on Tuesday to confer the credentials of Oman’s new Ambassador to Tehran, Yaarb bin Khahatan bin Nasser Albusaidi, President Pezeshikian called the Omani people brothers and reaffirmed that bilateral relations will continue with strength, stability and foresight.
Noting the high level of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman, he said that exchanges and cooperation are at the highest level and both sides are committed to deepening and expanding these relations.
The Iranian President also mentioned his recent visit to Muscat, where important and constructive agreements were reached between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of implementing these agreements and encouraged the new ambassadors to actively advance these efforts to achieve concrete benefits for both countries.
The newly appointed ambassador conveyed warm greetings from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, expressing the Sultanate’s determination to foster strong ties with Iran.
Ambassador Al-Busaidi recognized the importance of Iran’s role in the region and pledged to work diligently to strengthen comprehensive relations between the two countries.
The ambassador said he was confident that he would benefit from the Iranian government’s warm and constructive support in carrying out this important mission.
