He strongly condemned the terrorist attack that killed three Chinese nationals working in Tajikistan in the Shamsuddin Shahin district of Khatlon Governorate.
Bagai expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and expressed solidarity with the governments of Tajikistan and China.
He referred to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principled position of firmly condemning all forms and types of terrorism, and stressed the need to strengthen multilateral cooperation to prevent and combat terrorism.
Tajikistan said on Thursday that a drone “launched from Afghan territory” attacked a camp in the Khatron region late Wednesday, killing three Chinese workers, and called on authorities in Kabul to take steps to prevent further incidents.
The attack targeted the LLC Shohin SM workers’ camp near the 1st border guard post “Istiklol” of the Yor border detachment.
