Residents of a nearby village near Beit Jin heard three explosions in quick succession as drones targeted the area.
Residents believe the bombing was carried out by an Israeli drone. The attack came a week after an Israeli drone targeted a location near the town of Beit Zin, killing and wounding around 20 people a week after a similar incident in the same town.
Clashes between occupation forces and local forces in Beit Zin also left more than a dozen Israeli soldiers injured.
According to the local Syrian Hawar news agency, residents of the region have confirmed that repeated attacks have begun targeting key roads and mountain passes connecting Beit Zin and its surrounding areas, amid concerns about the expansion of military operations in the region.
Syria has been mired in violence since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime at the hands of HTS-led foreign-backed terrorists in 2024, while the Zionist regime has occupied areas in the south while the HTS-led government remains silent.
