According to Mehr news agency, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Iván Gil Pinto announced that Venezuela and Iran will continue to support diplomacy of justice and peace, emphasizing the two countries’ common strategic vision. His remarks were made during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Caracas Ali Chegeni at the Iranian embassy.
In a message posted on his official Telegram channel, Gill said the meeting focused on reaffirming the two countries’ commitment to strengthening their strategic alliance. He pointed out that bilateral cooperation allows both sides to deepen their efforts to protect political, popular and territorial sovereignty, promote social development and promote a multipolar world order.
On behalf of President Nicolas Maduro, Foreign Minister Gil expressed Venezuela’s heartfelt gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s solidarity and support in the face of the United States’ threats targeting Venezuela and the Caribbean and Latin America region.
