Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Saturday morning, citing unnamed medical officials, that Suhail Daman died from wounds sustained the previous day when an Israeli military aircraft fired at least one missile at a target near the al-Ribat Mosque in Beit Lahia city.
Rafik Muhammad Misbah al-Atar was also killed and three others injured in a drone attack near the Al-Atatra roundabout on the west side of the city.
On Friday, several areas in eastern Gaza City, including the al-Tufa and Shejaiya districts, as well as areas east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, were hit by Israeli airstrikes, according to witnesses, according to Press TV.
Israeli artillery shelling hit Beit Lahia, injuring several Palestinians.
Heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles and aircraft was also reported near areas where Israeli forces continue to be present in Rafah, east and south of Khan Yunis.
At least five Palestinians were killed on Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike on tents sheltering displaced people in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said the airstrike targeted a tent in al-Mawasi district west of Khan Yunis, killing all five people inside. The body was taken to the nearby Kuwait Field Hospital.
The incident was announced on the same day that the Israeli military announced that five soldiers had been injured in clashes with Palestinian fighters in the southern Gaza Strip.
The military said the fighters emerged from an underground structure east of Rafah. One soldier was seriously injured, and two others and a non-commissioned officer were denigrated. Everyone was evacuated to the hospital.
Since October 2023, Israeli forces have killed at least 70,125 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 171,015 people in the two-year war in Gaza, which has reduced much of the coast to rubble.
The onslaught caused widespread destruction of homes and civilian infrastructure, leaving the remaining residents in the territory in a desperate situation.
