He acknowledged that the Zionist regime responded to Syria’s peace message with a thousand airstrikes and hundreds of ground strikes.
Speaking at the 2025 Doha Forum, Jolani noted that Syria has sent a positive message aimed at establishing the foundations of stability in the region.
“Israel is trying to export its crisis to other countries and escape responsibility for the atrocities it has committed in the Gaza Strip, justifying everything with security concerns,” he said.
“Israel has responded to Syria with extreme violence, launching more than 1,000 airstrikes and carrying out 400 incursions into its territory. The latest of these attacks was a massacre in the town of Beit Zin in rural Damascus that claimed dozens of lives, i24NEWS reported.
“We are working with influential countries around the world to pressure Israel to withdraw from the territories it has occupied since December 8, 2014, and all countries support this demand,” it added.
