A farewell ceremony in their honor was held Sunday at the Martyrs Memorial in Tehran.
A series of funerals and memorial events are being planned to commemorate their sacrifice. On Monday, January 21, the funeral procession of martyr Ali Rajini will begin at 8 a.m. from the Ark Mosque to the Supreme Court in Tehran. At 2pm that afternoon, a second procession in Qom will begin from the Imam Hassan Askari (AS) Mosque and end at the Mausoleum of Madame Fatima Masoumeh (SA), where mourners will pay their respects.
As part of the ceremony, Martyr Rajini’s body will be ceremonially circulated around the sacred shrine of Lady Fatima Masumeh in Qom.
A memorial service will also be held on the same day. The first prayer will be held after the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Masjid Al-Azam in Qom. The second prayer is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the Imam Sadiq (AS) Mosque in Tehran’s Palestine Square.
