Major Hosein Salami, the Supreme Commander of IRGC, visited a missile city on the south coast of Iran on Saturday.
During the visit, Salami examined the preparation of the IRGC Navy missile unit in new facilities.
The upgraded missiles stationed at the basement base are equipped to compete with electronic warfare and can be operated in the shortest time as possible.
This is the third underground missile base announced by IRGC within a month.
On January 18, the IRGC Navy exhibited the underground Navy missile base at a private place in Persian Bay.
Earlier, on January 10, IRGC’s aerospace unit announced another underground missile city.
Iran states that its ballistic missile is an important deterrent against the United States and Israel, and that missile programs are impossible to negotiate.
In early January, the Iranian army started a large military exercise nationwide. The war games contained drills in which IRGC defended Natanz’s nuclear equipment in central Iranian, against Missile and Drone mock attacks.
