“Three Indians who have been to Iran for business purposes are missing. Landil Jaiswal, a spokesman of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported on Friday on a weekly briefing.
“We have taken up the problem between the Iranian Embassy in Delhi and the Ministry of Iranian Ministry of Iranian in Tehran,” said Jacewal.
He added that the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy in Tehran have been in contact with Iranian authorities, demanding support to find and ensure safety.
The three missing Indians were identified as Yogesh Panchal, Mohammad Sadeeque, and SumieT SuD.
According to Indian media, Pancel has recently started an export company dealing with dried fruits and apple, and on December 5, on a flight from Mumbai to Tehran, exploring business opportunities.
Sadeeque also traveled to Iran in December 2024, but SUD traveled to the country in early January.
