The head of Tehran -Tehran’s tourist office has announced a new digital sightseeing map that detailed important places related to the 1979 Islamic Revolution event. This map is now available online.
Amir Kassemi said on Wednesday that the map was matched to match the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory. The map emphasizes Tehran’s important sites that played an important role during the revolution, such as 18 mosques, 18 museums, and houses dedicated to the revolution -related history. In addition, it marks the location of 18 important events that witnessed the extremely important moment of the revolution.
QASEMI explained this map as a guide tool for creating and organizing tours focusing on the Islamic Revolution. He also emphasized that one of the purposes of the map was to document important events in 1342 (1962), when protests on the Pahlavi administration began. This allows users to comprehensively track the important moments of the revolution.
Notable places on the map are MAR such as Imam Homeini (the founder of the Islamic Revolution) and his Jamaran Hosenier, Shahid Mota Hari, Shahid Beshietti, Dr. Shariati, and others. Includes the homes of the teacher and museums. Shamran, Ebrat Museum, QASR Museum, National Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense Museum.
Other important sites include the former U.S. Embassy, the MAR Open Museum, and the Peace Museum, known as the Nest of Spy. Meydan-e Shohada (Martyrs’ Square), Martyrs Motahari, Mofatteh, Bahonar’s attempts, and some spots in MEHRABAD Historical landmark BEHESHT ZAHRA CEMETERY.
