Tehran’s Tehran -Medea Hall will play a reading performance on Saturday of Eric Mmanuel Schmidt of 1999 (“Hotel de Dew Monde”).
This performance will be directed by Sarina Kian in the casts consisting of Sajad Taeheli, Mohamad Javado Mohamadi, Perham Pluchamse, Shakiba Canaan, and Maegan Teherani.
“WORLDS” is translated into Persian by Shahla Haeri, a famous Iran translator.
This play is a metaphysical set, a Doddunia guesthouse, and is a Liminal space that remains in COMA abuse while individuals are waiting for treatment. This unique venue exists between the earth and the sky, and is functioning as a transition area for guests on the brink that returns to life or move to the post -death world.
Each character is working on existing questions such as “How did you arrive here? When can you leave? Where are you going?” However, the answer is to avoid them and are uncertain.
The diverse cast of the guests in the world includes cholin, which has been recovered from a car accident caused by excessive drinking. The chairman is a self -absorbed businessman who was obsessed with using his connection to secure his exit. A magician is a fortune teller who provides a loving viewpoint to his fellow residents. Jesse, a cleaning woman who finds unexpected care and comfort in this surreal environment. And Laura, a paralyzed girl trapped in a wheelchair in the real world, miraculously enjoys the healthy and functional body within the guest house.
Under the careful eyes of the mysterious doctor S, the guest confronts their fear and desire. Doctors’ silence amplifies their anxiety and is completely contrasting to the surreal experiences they have experienced.
In this unique area, the boundaries of the possibilities are blurred, enabling miraculous events. Theater vibrates between humor, sadness, dreams, and reality. It explores the theme of life, death, and meaning of meaning.
The “between the world” functions as a quest for hope and mystery, and clarifies human quests to face uncertainty.
Through the interaction between guests and their reflections on past life, Schmidt creates a story that emphasizes the narrow lines between existence and blanks. Character -shared journey encapsures deep explanations about the human condition, and recognizes that the mysterious essence is an important source of hope, even in the face of unknown essence.
Eric Enmanuel Schmidt, born in 1960, is a masterpiece of Franco Belgian playwrights, novelists, and film directors, and has been played in more than 50 countries. He grew up as an educator’s family, which influenced his love for his early literature.
He pursued high -education in philosophy in Ecole Normal Spelliere and later obtained a Ph.D. at the University of Paris Sorbonne. Schmidt’s literary career began in the 1990s with plays such as “Trials and Dong Fans” and “Visitors”.
In addition to theater, he has written several praised novels, such as “Gospel by Pilat” and “Oscar and Lady in Pink”. Schmidt has won numerous literature awards and has been exploring various genres such as script and music. His work resonates with the theme of human experience, spirituality, and existing exploration, and is one of the most widely read modern French writers.
