TEHRAN – Iran will begin a massive Zolfakar 1403 joint military exercise on Saturday.
Lt. Gen. Habibora Sayari, who oversees the pilot, said the aim is to strengthen Iran’s defensive capabilities and deterrent against potential threats.

Additionally, the exercise will serve as a test ground for new military tactics and weapons, including evaluations of “new, smart, accurate, guided ammunition, and various types of missiles.”
The Zolfaqar 1403 exercise continues almost two months of national military training, including various units in the military.
