Beirut – A large crowd of people from various regions of Lebanon and around the world will be held by the historic funeral processions in Beirut for Hassan Nasrara, Secretary General of Hezbollah and Seiyed Hashem Safiedin, Chief of Hezbollah’s Executive Council. I attended.

All logistical and technical preparations for the funeral have been completed in advance.
The funeral began at 1pm local time, with a Quran reading, followed by the national anthem and Hezbollah national anthem, with reports reported.

Nasrara was assassinated on September 27, 2024 in a shelling in South Beirut, Israel. Using 85 tons of explosives, Israeli Jets levelled six home buildings in Dahie, following a week-long bombing campaign that struck many areas from south Lebanon to Beirut.
Safieddine was assassinated in an Israeli attack on October 3, 2024.
Hezbollah postponed the funeral for both leaders as Lebanon was under a merciless Israeli attack.

A team of four representing leaders of the Islamic Revolution was attended by Ali Khamenei at the funeral.

Lebanon’s security owes to Hezbollah
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bakar Karibah also visited Beirut to attend the funeral procession.

Tens of thousands of mourners dressed in black, waving Hezbollah flags, carrying portraits of Nasrara, and flocking to his funeral at the stadium.
A charismatic leader, Nasrala led Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement for over 30 years. Hezbollah enjoys the support base of the majority of Shia Muslim communities in the country.
