Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi arrived in Beirut early on Sunday morning to attend the funeral of the late Hezbollah Chief Syed Hassan Nasrala.
“Today, on behalf of the Islamic Republic government of Iran and the people of Iran, I will be attending the funeral of two heroes of Islamic resistance,” Araguchi said as he arrived.
These two leaders made many sacrifices to raise resistance, fight the occupation and drive Zionists out of the occupying land, Araguchi said.
“Today, resistance will be shown to the world that it is alive, Hezbollah is alive to its cause and is loyal,” Araguchi added.
Beirut has witnessed an unprecedented international rally, with world figures, resistance leaders and supporters celebrating the legacy of Said Hassan Nasrara and his comrades.
Hezbollah’s longtime leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, marched in a massive Israeli air attack in Beirut on September 27, 2024.
