In an interview with Mehr’s news agency, Hosni Muhanna detailed the ground situation in Gaza, especially in the wake of a devastating war with vulnerable people on the strip, especially during the Zionist regime’s devastating 15-month war.
When it comes to the extent of destruction of residential buildings in Gaza, it is necessary to point out that more than 70% of the buildings in the strip are primarily or completely damaged, he said.
In some cases, it is impossible to live in a residential unit, he said, adding that the situation has driven hundreds of thousands of Palestinian families away and made them homeless.
Despite the need for reconstruction, the process of bringing equipment and machinery into the Gaza Strip is being hampered, Muhanna said.
He noted that the necessary equipment was to enter Gaza, according to the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Zionist regime.
Gaza City now needs urgent action to ensure the intrusion of essential equipment and materials so that humanitarian aid can reach the area, the spokesman said.

He went on to say that Gaza’s water supply system has been severely damaged.
In addition to hospitals, Israel has also destroyed dozens of mosques, schools and markets on the strip, Muhanna emphasizes.
He said Gaza hospitals currently operate at full capacity.
He stressed that the beginning of winter and unfavourable weather conditions have led to thousands of Palestinian families living in tents that are not well protected from cold winter weather.
The situation is extremely difficult, Muhanna added that people are facing a serious shortage of blankets, clothes and heating appliances.
The difficult condition exposed Gazan to a variety of diseases, including respiratory, gastrointestinal and skin disorders, he said.
