Beirut – A virtual international conference entitled “Palestine: From Nakba to Flood – The Importance of the Role of Palestinian Resistance to Prevent Displacement” was held in Sanaa on Sunday.
Over 50 researchers and scholars from various countries participated.
Among the participants were the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ismail al-Mutawakel, and head of the national team for external communications, and Ambassador Ahmed.

Daifuallah Al-Shami, a member of the Supreme Committee to Support Al-Aqsa, emphasized the importance of the meeting to examine the escalating conflict in Arab-Israel.
Al-Shami pointed to the benefits of the martian leader Sayed Hussein Badr al-Din Al-Houthi on the day of the Quds following the 2001 Qur’an movement.
Alshami also reviewed the most prominent stages of conflict with Israeli enemies since the convening of the first Zionist Conference held in Basel, Switzerland in August 1897.
Moreover, Al-Shami pointed to the importance of Yemen’s location in favour of floods in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, the Arabian Navy and the Indian Ocean, whether it is an Israeli ship or a vessel heading towards an occupied Palestinian port.
In turn, Morez Abu Shamala, representative of Sanaa’s Hamas, pointed out the delay in the Zionist regime in implementing ceasefire agreements by taking advantage of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza to achieve benefits such as expelling Palestinians from the land during the war.
Abu Shamara said the Zionist enemy is in a state of unequivocal support for American support, preventing humanitarian invasions of Gaza people in front of the eyes and ears of the world.
He emphasized Hamas’ claims to Palestine unity and rejection of foreign troops in the Gaza Strip.
Abu Shamara further urged participants to announce their refusal to evacuate Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. He also emphasized the need for continued delivery of relief supplies to suffering Palestinians and active participation in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
The virtual conference also featured scholars, researchers, activists, human rights activists and politicians from various countries around the world.
Participants emphasized the need to support the legitimate rights of Palestinians for a sovereign state with Al-Kud as the capital, and stressed firmly against the plan to forcibly drive away the Palestinian people.
Panelists also condemned the worsening humanitarian situation that endured people in Gaza, the West Bank, Al-Kud and other Palestinian regions.
Furthermore, they urged the international community to fulfill their commitment to protecting the Palestinian people and their right to return to their country. They also pointed to the importance of refusing America’s plan to connect the voices of activists with the free people of the world and forcing Palestinians out of their homelands.
The panelists also highlighted the need to strengthen the role of the Palestinian resistance movement as the only guarantee of standing up to the ethnic cleansing and apartheid policies of Zionist groups. The panelists also praised the Yemeni military’s operations under the slogan “You’re not alone” alongside the graduation of one million march, a fundraising campaign and more than one million mobilized trainees.
