Beirut – The pretext of imperialist colonies operating to expand their influence is different. What’s happening at Beirut Airport today is nothing new. It is clear that the US is only doing what it is trying to control Lebanon’s important facilities and airports.
Preventing Iranian flights from landing at Beirut airport is sometimes categorized as President Donald Trump’s project to rule the world by proposing plans to drive away Palestinians and other countries by occupying them.
Washington is a fundamental issue in light of dominating the southern part of the West Asia region, in addition to the Persian Gulf states, in particular against conflicts with competing forces, taking into account fundamental issues, as was the case with the Soviet Union decades ago.
The “Doctor of Eisenhower” was implemented in the 1950s during the time of President Kamille Chamon, when the US Navy landed on the coast of Beirut. Their interest focused on Beirut Airport. This is because affecting nooses around strategic outlets such as public facilities and airports ensures impact.
This is exactly what is happening today, as the US embassy in Beirut functions only as a military base that violates the sovereignty and fame of the Lebanese state at any time.
As Beirut’s air base is Lebanon’s only international airport, it is looking to revitalize several airports, including the Rayak Air Base, which is currently witnessing suspicious American and British military presence, given its strategic location in the heart of the Bekaa Valley near the Syrian border.
It was officially opened in 2011 as a military base for the Labour Army. Before the opening, the airport received expansion work that was directly funded and overseen by the US Embassy. Recently, we have undergone additional expansion work as a larger capacity hangar has been added. It was equipped with the latest radar and surveillance devices.
It is noteworthy that the Lebanese army used Raek Air Force Base during the battle with Jolani terrorist groups during the liberation of the 2015 Battle of Bekaa Outerland.
Moreover, the US Embassy controls Qlayat Air Force Base on Lebanon’s north coast as a logistics base that connects bases in Greece, Greece and other Cyprus bases in Western Asia.
In this context, it is worth noting that the Qlayat Air Base is closer to Syria, the Russian Air and naval bases in Tartas and Latakia. They also tend to establish facilities in the Qlayat Air Base to promote weapons invasion to support anti-hazbollah proxy in Lebanon.
Lebanon’s airports are small in size but have a large influence, just like Lebanon itself, and are small in size but have a large influence.
Therefore, the recent expansion work witnessed by the US Embassy in Aucar should not be under the illusion that it does not aim to surround resistance or at least pressure Lebanese authorities to incite resistance under the pretext of avoiding severe brutal sanctions.
